Discover Similan Islands

World-Class Diving & Snorkeling
Whether you’re drifting over shallow coral gardens or exploring deeper reefs, the Similans are a true underwater paradise. With visibility up to 30 metres and warm waters year-round, the islands are home to:
-
Vibrant coral reefs and colorful reef fish
-
Sea turtles grazing in the shallows
-
Occasional visits from manta rays and whale sharks at sites like Koh Bon and Koh Tachai
-
Healthy schools of barracuda, parrotfish, and clownfish that bring the reefs to life
Fun fact: The name “Similan” comes from the Malay word sembilan, meaning “nine” the original number of islands in the chain.
White Sand Beaches & Granite Giants
Step ashore onto powder-soft white sand framed by giant granite boulders and turquoise water. Koh Similan (Island 8) is the largest and most famous, home to the iconic “Sail Rock” viewpoint overlooking a panorama of the archipelago. Other islands remain untouched, reserved for sea turtles and conservation giving you the rare chance to see nature at its best.
